MERENGUE

Hello! Today we write about merengue.
Merengue (sp. Merengue) is the national dance of the Dominican Republic and Paper. There are two versions of how he created the dance. One hypothesis holds that merengue dance of slaves who were chained together and that emergency dragged one leg as they cut sugar cane to the rhythm of drums. The second story alleges that a great hero from one of the many revolutions in the Dominican Republic in was wounded in the leg. His villagers welcomed him home with a warm welcome and are in sympathy, everyone dancing felt obliged to limp or drag one foot.In Haiti, a similar dance is called (sp. Meringue). It is possible that the dance got its name from the sweet made of sugar and egg whites, and because of the light and sparkling character or because of its short, precise rhythms. In the United States merengue first appeared in New York.
There are several varieties merenga as a kind of music. Tempo has many variations and Dominicans enjoy a sharp acceleration. The clubs and restaurants on the dance floor most cost schedule that ranges from slow bolero, which breaks the merengue which gradually merges with clear and fast jive. Merengue, which is danced in dance evenings and in schools is slower and has a custom moves her hips.Merengue is a combination of two dances, and African dance and the French minuet from the late 18th century and early 19th century. The African slaves saw the balls in big houses, and when they had their own festivals began to imitate the dance master. Dances Europeans are not them were interesting because they were boring and quiet, and are slaves to time add a special supplement, and they add a slight hop to the rhythm of drums.

The original Merengue was not danced in pairs, but it was sort of ullage in which men and women were facing each other and kept their hands. Not too much nearer to each other. Original dance movements were just shaking their shoulders and quick step. There was no offensive movement hips like today, because African dances do not know the moves hips.In fact, African dances do not have a complicated arms and hands covered. There is not a primitive sexual shaking her hips. Nowadays the original merengue survives only in rural areas of the Dominican Republic. Traditional form of merengue has changed. From its beginnings merengue was executing instruments that it holds the community and was easy to get hold of Tres and Cuatro.Merengue the shoulder in the steam in a position as a waltz, and consists of steps to the side. This step is called (sp. "Paso de la empalizada") or (eng. "Stick-fence step"). The couple can rotate clockwise or counterclockwise. Such merengue called (sp. "Merengue de salón") and in it the couple never separated. There is a (sp. "Merengue de figure") in which dancers turned to work independently, but never let your partner's hand. Music merengue is a 2/4 rhythm. This dance is a good base for other Latin dances because the dancers learn a transfer of weight, working her hips, movement, rhythm. There is a basic step that is taught, but can move in all directions and work solo or joint turns. This method makes it easy to perform a lot of dancing figures as virtually just that and should learn. Almost all the figures in salsa may play and the merengue. Merengue dancing is taught in all schools of dance.

QUICK STEP

Hello! Today is time for quick step.
The quickstep is a light-hearted member of the standard ballroom dances. The movement of the dance is fast and powerfully flowing and sprinkled with syncopations. The upbeat melodies that quickstep is danced to make it suitable for both formal and informal events. Quickstep was developed in the twenties in New York and was first danced by Caribbean and African dancers. Its origins are in combination of slow foxtrot combined with the Charleston, a dance which was one of the precursors to what today is called swing dancing.

The quickstep evolved in the 1920s from a combination of the foxtrot, The Chase G Chug, Charleston, shag, peabody, and one-step. The dance is English in origin, and was standardized in 1927. While it evolved from the foxtrot, the quickstep now is quite separate. Unlike the modern foxtrot, the man often closes his feet and syncopated steps are regular occurrences (as was the case in early foxtrot). Three characteristic dance figures of the quickstep are the chassés, where the feet are brought together, the quarter turns, and the lock step.

This dance gradually evolved into a very dynamic one with a lot of movement on the dance floor, with many advanced patterns including hops, runs, quick steps with a lot of momentum, and rotation. The tempo of quickstep dance is rather brisk as it was developed to ragtime era jazz music which is fast-paced when compared to other dance music.

By the end of the 20th century the complexity of quickstep as done by advanced dancers had increased, due to the extensive use of syncopated steps with eighth note durations. While in older times quickstep patterns were counted with "quick" (one beat) and "slow" (two beats) steps, many advanced patterns today are cued with split beats, such as "quick-and-quick-and-quick, quick, slow", with there being further steps on the 'and's.

The basic step forward and backward, right, move in, move left in the village, turn right axis, the left turn as the tango with the change of pace, left and right turn as the Viennese waltz with the change of pace, scissors (ext step) forward and backward.
These are the main crust and figure that learn in dance schools and dance evenings to play the most. Not technically demanding as well as basic step, but it is a prerequisite that he firmly established, especially in men. If I train the basic step to a great man management and orientation in space makes it more maneuverable in all directions.
